Hi Chris,
I'm trying to use the digital eyelink IO device for mworks, and running into some problems. Can you point me towards any documentation to set it up, and does it work fine for Eyelink II (which we use on setup 2)?
Thanks

For the support archive, here's what we needed to do to get MWorks working with the EyeLink II:

    1. Obtain an Ethernet crossover cable. We used the one that came with the EyeLink, but any should work.

    2. Connect one end of the crossover cable to the Ethernet jack in the EyeLink computer's I/O card (the one in an expansion slot, not the other Ethernet jack that's built in to the case).

    3. Connect the other end of the crossover cable to an unused Ethernet jack on the Mac.

    4. In System Preferences -> Network, configure the Ethernet connection to the EyeLink as follows:

      • Configure IPv4: Manually
      • IP Address: 100.1.1.2
      • Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
      • Router: leave empty

Note that the EyeLink computer in question was pre-configured with an IP address of 100.1.1.1. A different EyeLink address would require different settings on the Mac end.

    5. Install the EyeLink Developers Kit for Mac OS X.

    6. Restart MWServer.

If everything is set up correctly, then the attached experiment should run and receive eye positions via the eye_lx and eye_ly variables.
