Does MWorks 0.6 resolve issues in Yosemite as well?
Would you mind sharing with us what the main problems were and how you fixed them.

    Hi Najib,

The graphics issues I observed in Yosemite are still present in El Capitan. (I guess my El Capitan note should have said that I've encountered no new issues.) However, as I told Davide a while back, I don't believe those graphics issues affect normal MWorks usage. Quoting myself:

The specific problem I've seen is that, when running in a non-fullscreen window (e.g. mirror window only), the stimulus display can drop a substantial number of frames. The dropped frames are noticeable under visual inspection (e.g. animation is jittery), but they're completely invisible to MWorks' display update code, which thinks that everything is running smoothly.

Notably, I have not observed this issue in fullscreen windows, so it probably wouldn't pose a problem for typical MWorks usage.

To date, I still haven't seen the problem in fullscreen windows. Also, at least a few labs are running MWorks under Yosemite, and I haven't received any problem reports from them.

That said, I haven't wanted to give an "all clear" on this issue because I still don't understand why it's happening. (I've also found reports of similar problems that don't appear to have been resolved, either.) I was hoping El Capitan would set things straight, but now that it hasn't, I'll have to dig in to it some more (and probably get in touch with Apple's developer technical support).

In the meantime, I think that it's probably OK to run MWorks under Yosemite. But if that makes you uncomfortable, then hold back on Mavericks.

    Cheers,
    Chris
